GENERAL RULES: 1. Check-In and Check-Out: - 🕑 Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability. 2. Occupancy: - 🏡 The city of LA has strict occupancy limits that are enforced. - 🔐 Only registered guests are allowed on the property. 3. Quiet Hours: - 🎧 Please observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 8 AM to respect our neighbors. - ❗ Absolutely NO noise after 9 PM. 4. No Parties or Events: - ❌ No parties or events are allowed. - ⛔ Guests not on the reservation are prohibited. - 🛑 We reserve the right to cancel your stay and remove you from the premises without a refund for violating these house rules. **RESPECT THE PROPERTY:** 5. No Smoking: - 🚬 This is a non-smoking property. We have smoke sensors throughout the house. - 🔢 Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas only. Dispose of cigarette butts in the large trash cans outside. - ⚠ A complete loss of deposit will occur if any evidence of smoking is found. This includes cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, or vaping. 6. Pet Policy: - 🐕 Our property is pet-friendly; however, we allow dogs only. - ⛔ Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cats due to potential allergy concerns and property maintenance. - 📢 If you plan to bring a dog, please notify us in advance. Additional fees may apply. - 🐶 We kindly ask that all dogs are house-trained, well-behaved, and supervised at all times. - ♻️ Please clean up after your pets to maintain the cleanliness of the property. 7. Cleanliness: - 🧹 Please keep the property clean and tidy. Cleaning supplies are located under the kitchen sink. - ❗ Any excessive cleaning required will incur additional charges. 8. Damages: - ⚖️ Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay. Please report any damages immediately. - ❌ Please do not remove or take anything from the house. Charges will apply for missing items, including a service fee. **SAFETY AND SECURITY:** 9. Lock Doors: - 🔐 Please lock all doors and windows when leaving the property. 10. Fire Safety: - 🔥 No open flames or candles inside the property. - ⚡ Follow all fire safety guidelines posted in the property. 11. Parking: - 🚗 There are 3 small to mid-size vehicle parking spaces in the driveway. - ⛔ DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE NEIGHBOR'S DRIVEWAY AT ANY TIME. **AMENITIES:** 12. Pool: - 🏊 The pool is enjoyed most from May through September. - ❄ The pool can still be used as a "refreshing" cold plunge from October through April; think Wim Hof. - ❌ The pool is not heated, and there is no hot tub. - ⛰ Swim at your own risk; there is no lifeguard available. Walk, do not run, around the pool. - 🔄 The pool cleaner comes weekly, normally on Thursdays; you may need to skim the pool for leaves on windy days. A skimmer is provided. - 🔧 Pool Maintenance Schedule: Please note that our pool is maintained by a professional pool service. The pool guy comes every Thursday to clean the pool and balance the chemicals. This usually occurs in the late morning. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to keep the pool in pristine condition for your enjoyment. 13. Pool Table: - 🎱 The full-sized pool table is for your enjoyment. Do not sit or place drinks on the pool table. - 🍽 Use the shelves, desk, and small wooden table in the game room for food and drinks. 14. Kitchen: - 🍽 Do all your dishes and put everything back where it belongs. - ⚠ Do not place hot pots or pans on countertops. - 🎤 Turn off the stove and oven after use. - 🔢 Do not drop metal or heavy items into the garbage disposal. Use the trash can. - 🌡 Check and turn off the outdoor gas grill after use. - 🍲 You are welcome to leave sealed, unopened snacks or drinks for the next guests. 15. Restrooms: - 🚽 Do not flush baby wipes or feminine products in the toilet. Use the trash can. - ❗ Note: The toilet is very sensitive and can clog or overflow easily. 16. Shower: - 🚿 Hot water is available, but large groups taking long showers may cause it to run out. It can take up to 30 minutes to reheat. 17. Laundry: - 🧺 Washer and dryer are available with complimentary detergent. Only use a small amount of detergent and fabric softener. - 🔄 Do not leave laundry unattended. Remove lint from the lint trap before and after drying. - ⚠ Do not overfill the machines, as this can cause damage and result in repair charges. **ADDITIONAL NOTES:** 18. Emergencies and Maintenance: - 🛠️ Contact us immediately for any issues like broken items, maintenance problems, water leaks, or clogged drains. 19. Lost and Found: - 🔐 We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Please check the property thoroughly before leaving. 20. Violation of Rules: - ⚠ Violation of any house rules may result in additional charges and/or immediate eviction without a refund. **LIABILITY:** 21. Liability: - ⚖️ By booking this reservation, you agree to these house rules and hold yourself liable for any personal injuries that may occur during your stay. We look forward to hosting you!
